Wesfarmers-backed Decipher, an award-winning Australian technology solutions company in agriculture and mining, recently announced the release of its new online storefront, Marketplace, along with additional features to its existing DecipherAg product for farmers and agronomists.
Marketplace has been designed to give customers the flexibility to tailor their agriculture nutrition solutions by adding specific products and services to their subscription. Yield data and cleaning is the first suite of features available in Marketplace, with higher quality imagery, weather and sensors soon to be released.
Decipher draws upon more than 100 years of agricultural knowledge and experience from the Wesfarmers Industrial Division, while continuing to build upon advancements in agriculture cloud solutions.
Decipher’s Chief Executive Officer, Anthony Walker said Marketplace was an innovative addition to Decipher’s robust, easy to use tools on offer to growers.
“We are proud to continually add value to farmers throughout the growing season, so they can access what they need to suit their operational requirements,” he said.
Besides Marketplace, Decipher also introduced new features to its existing product, DecipherAg, based on customer feedback.
“Our customers wanted more frequent and higher resolution imagery for a simpler way to manage their yield data, map variability and produce prescription maps.
“So we increased the functionality of DecipherAg by offering free single scene biomass imagery and the introduction of management zones. Both functions are easy to use and allow customers to be more proactive in managing their business,“ said Mr Walker.
Decipher customer and Dandaragan farmer, Lachlan Brown, endorsed Decipher’s products saying the combination of offering biomass imagery and soil and plant analysis helped make his move into adopting precision agriculture an easy one.
“By using Decipher’s platform, I can now see our farm through a different lens. I can visualise and compare current and historical farm data, which would otherwise be lost in spreadsheets or left on a USB stick,” he said.
Mr Walker said Decipher continues to increase its expansion into the WA agriculture market as it improves its subscription offerings, new functionality features and the introduction of Decipher Marketplace.
