Meet the names and faces behind Decipher!

Kelly Lodge-Calvert, Marketing Coordinator

Kelly Lodge-Calvert is a born leader, problem solver, curious traveller and a graduate of Public Relations and Communications. Professionally, she is dedicated to assisting Decipher transform the way in which farmers and agriculture service providers manage nutrition, and is passionate about educating the industry on the benefits of adopting precision agriculture into their operations.

What is your role at Decipher?

I joined Decipher in May 2018 as the Marketing Coordinator – I bring Decipher to life (see below!)

Farming is changing so it’s incredibly exciting and rewarding to be working in this space and seeing our customers reap real benefits from adopting precision agriculture. One of the best parts of the job is getting out on farm, speaking with our customers, seeing how they are using the platform to improve their operations, and sharing these stories with our audience!

What are most people surprised to learn about you?

I’ve lived in Papua New Guinea and Vietnam, and have travelled to over 26 countries in my short 24 years. One of my favourite trips was in Turkey – I spent a month travelling the country on my own and loved every minute of it (hot air ballooning in Cappadocia and sailing the Turkish Mediterranean is hard to beat).

What’s your favourite place in the world, and why?

Anywhere sunny and surrounded by the ocean – but my favourite place would have to be Broome!

What are you currently watching on Netflix?

Unreal (Stan).

If you could swap places with someone for the day, who would it be?

Melanie Perkins, CEO of Canva – she was recently named one of Australia’s most successful business women under the age of 30. It’s refreshing to see hard-working, ambitious women making headlines!
